NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide (GO)-coated hollow titanium dioxide (TiO2) ball-loaded nano-cellulose includes taking titanium dioxide, polyethylenimine (PEI), urea and ethylene glycol, stirring until completely dissolved, adding into reaction kettle with PTFE inner liner, reacting, naturally cooling to room temperature, centrifuging, respectively washing with ethanol and water for multiple times, adjusting pH of the solution, vacuum filtering to obtain the filter cake, placing the filter cake in high temperature oven or furnace, drying overnight and obtaining hollow titanium dioxide powder. USE - Preparation of GO-coated hollow TiO2 ball-loaded nano-cellulose (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has high efficiency and high yield, provides GO-coated hollow TiO2 ball-loaded nano-cellulose having large specific surface area and higher photocatalytic activity, and is environmentally friendly and pollution-free. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of GO-coated hollow TiO2 ball-loaded nano-cellulose comprises taking 0.56-1.0 pt. mass titanium dioxide, 1.0-2.0 pts. mass PEI, 3.6-5.0 pts. mass urea and 60-120 pts. mass ethylene glycol, stirring with glass rod until completely dissolved, adding into reaction kettle with PTFE inner liner, reacting at 180-200 degrees C for 12-14 hours, naturally cooling to room temperature, centrifuging at 3500-4500 revolutions/minute (rpm) for 5-10 minutes, respectively washing with ethanol and water for multiple times, adjusting pH of the solution at 9 using hydrochloric acid, vacuum filtering to obtain the filter cake, placing the filter cake in 50-60 degrees C high temperature oven or furnace, drying overnight, obtaining hollow titanium dioxide powder, taking 30-40 pts. mass solid sodium hydroxide (NaOH), 60-400 pts. mass urea and 80-500 pts. mass deionized water, mixing by stirring to dissolve, cooling to room temperature, placing at - 10 to - 20 degrees C for 4-5 hours, adding 2-5 pts. mass defatted cotton, stirring and dissolving, ultrasonically treating for 2-4 hours, obtaining cellulose solution, adding the cellulose solution into centrifuge, centrifuging at 3500-4500 rpm for 5-10 minutes, taking the precipitates, dropwise adding concentrated sulfuric acid until the pH is 3-4, adding deionized water to adjust the pH at 7, obtaining solution A, taking 50-80 pts. mass solution A, adding 0.5-1.0 pt. mass hollow titanium dioxide powder, shaking at 50-60 degrees C for 1-2 hours, adding 0.5-1 pt. mass GO dispersion, transferring the mixture in high pressure kettle with PTFE liner at 180-200 degrees C for 4-8 hours, naturally cooling to room temperature, filtering, drying in drying box at 50-60 degrees C overnight, obtaining product B, placing in muffle furnace, filling nitrogen, raising the temperature at 1 degrees C/minute to 500-600 degrees C, keeping the temperature for 2 hours, and obtaining the product.
