NOVELTY - Method for preparing composite positive electrode material, involves (i) adding graphene oxide to water, and dispersing to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion, and (ii) adding a nickel source and a sulfur source to the graphene oxide dispersion at a preset molar ratio to obtain a mixed solution, and heating the mixed solution at a first preset pressure and a first preset temperature for a first preset time to obtain nickel sulfide-reduced graphene oxide composite positive electrode material. USE - The method is useful for preparing composite positive electrode material used for aluminum ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite positive electrode material exposes more active sites, exerts the characteristics of capacity, and improves the cycle stability of the aluminum ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an aluminum ion battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator and an electrolyte, where the positive electrode comprises the nickel sulfide-reduced graphene oxide composite positive electrode material.
