NOVELTY - Preparation of tin(IV)sulfide/graphene oxide modified sulfur cathode material involves dissolving polystyrene template, tin source and sulfur source in solvent, stirring, mixing, performing solvothermal reaction , washing, drying to obtain tin disulfide material, mixing tin disulfide material and graphite oxide, adding to water, ultrasonic mixing is uniform, drying, placing in inert atmosphere, calcining to obtain tin disulfide/graphene composite material, mixing commercial sulfur with tin disulfide/graphene composite material, and placing in high temperature furnace for vacuum reaction to obtain final product. USE - Preparation of tin(IV)sulfide/graphene oxide modified sulfur cathode material in lithium sulfur batteries(claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation of tin(IV)sulfide/graphene oxide modified sulfur cathode material effectively combines advantages of metal sulfide and carbon materials, which not only improves conductivity of sulfur cathode but also improves active site of material which can effectively relieve charge and discharge process. The volume expansion of sulfur positive electrode avoids problem of reduced charge and discharge, excessive capacity decay caused by volume expansion thereby improving electrochemical performance of material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of tin(IV)sulfide/graphene oxide modified sulfur cathode material.
