NOVELTY - Waterproof coating comprises 50-70 pts. wt. modified epoxy resin, 6-18 pts. wt. active acrylate monomer, 6-12 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 2-10 pts. wt. photoinitiator, 20-40 pts. wt. fumed silica, and 1-5 pts. wt. glycidyl ether. USE - The coating is useful for thermo-sensitive paper. ADVANTAGE - The coating: can be easily coated on the surface of thermal paper; and can be in contact with water for a long time without damaging the useful text information on the thermal paper. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the waterproof coating comprising (a) using an analytical balance for accurately weighing modified epoxy resin, active acrylate monomer, graphene oxide, and fumed silica, mixing, and then using three-roll mill for grinding the coating mixture so that the particle size of coating mixture is 1-10 mu m, and (b) adding photoinitiator and glycidyl ether to coating mixture, using a high-speed disperser for dispersing at a rate of 3000-5000 revolutions/minute for 3-5 minutes, then filling and sealing.
