NOVELTY - Preparing graphene quantum dot suspension and powder, comprises chemical oxidative cleavage reaction of fullerene to form graphene quantum dots suspension, removing impurity ions from the suspension; and drying to obtain graphene quantum dots powder. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene quantum dot suspension and powder (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, cost effective quick and provides high yield of graphene quantum dot suspension and powder with uniform size distribution and good water-solubility.
