NOVELTY - Graphene oxide (GO)-recombinant Streptococcal protein G composite material comprises activated GO immobilized in solid polyethyleneimine (PEI) carrier, and activated recombinant Streptococcal protein G covalently bound to PEI. USE - The composite material is useful for antibody purification, antibody enrichment, pathogen detection, and for treating biological sample. ADVANTAGE - The GO-recombinant Streptococcal protein G composite material has higher antibody adsorption capacity. The GO has high specific surface area. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing GO-recombinant Streptococcal protein G composite material which involves adding 1 part activated GO in 15-30 parts PEI at room temperature, and after centrifuging the supernatant, removing precipitate to obtain solid GO material (GOPEI), where mass ratio of GO and GOPEI is 1:1.5-2; activating GOPEI; mixing by oscillating; centrifuging after removing supernatant; and washing material.
