NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/polystyrene building insulation foam involves using an ultrafine mixed powder of polystyrene and graphene, microfoaming with the aid of supercritical CO2 and fluid shearing device, and producing by rapid pressure relief and hot compression molding. The specific preparation steps includes putting the polystyrene and graphene microchips into a ball mill and grounding to form ultrafine mixed powder. The mixed powder place in a CO2 supercritical reactor, install a high-speed magnetic stirring motor at the top of the reactor. The motor drives the cutting blade to extend into the reactor, and assists supercritical CO2 to micro-foam graphene and polystyrene through fluid shearing. The pressure is quickly release to prepare the powder of graphene and expanded polystyrene uniformly mixed. The powder is hot-pressed to form graphene/polystyrene building insulation foam. USE - Method for preparing graphene/polystyrene building insulation foam. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene/polystyrene building insulation foam enhances the mechanical properties of the material, simple preparation process, can be used for mass production, and has good application prospects.
