NOVELTY - Thermally conductive double-sided adhesive tape includes a substrate, a thermally conductive adhesive film and a release film, and both sides of the base layer are coated with a thermally conductive adhesive film containing holes. A metal pillar with the same thickness as the thermal conductive adhesive film is grown in the hole by electrodeposition, and the metal pillar penetrates the thermal conductive adhesive film of the double-sided tape. The side of the thermal conductive adhesive film opposite to the substrate is covered with a release film. USE - Thermally conductive double-sided adhesive tape. ADVANTAGE - The thermally conductive double-sided adhesive tape has a significantly improved thermal conductivity, and can be used for heat dissipation and bonding of electronic components. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation method of thermally conductive double-sided adhesive tape, which involves: (A) covering both sides of the thermally conductive adhesive film with release films to obtain a thermally conductive adhesive film covered with release films on both sides; (B) drilling the thermal conductive film covered with release film on both sides; (C) pasting the drilled thermally conductive adhesive film on both sides of the substrate, and keeping the outermost release film on both sides of the tape to obtain a substrate tape with holes; (D) putting the hole-containing substrate tape in the electroplating solution for double-sided electroplating; and (E) washing and drying the electroplated tape, removing the release film with holes on both sides of the tape, and covering with a new release film to obtain a thermally conductive double-sided tape.
