NOVELTY - A self-supporting graphene hydrogel film has thickness of 10-1000 mu m, water content of 0-500%, electrical conductivity of 10-9 to 107 S/m and tensile strength of 100-500 MPa. USE - Self-supporting graphene hydrogel film is used in drug loading and catalysis. ADVANTAGE - The self-supporting graphene hydrogel film having excellent flexibility and micro-structural uniformity, high strength, and controllable thickness and size, is manufactured by simple and environmentally-friendly process with reduced energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of self-supporting graphene hydrogel film, which involves mixing 1 pt. wt. graphene oxide and 50-200 pts. wt. water, ultrasonically dispersing resultant mixture, obtaining water-graphene oxide dispersion, extruding resultant mixture using coagulation liquid, obtaining graphene oxide hydrogel film, mixing resultant film with 1-200 pts. wt. reducing agent, performing reduction process at 60-120 degrees C for 1 minute to 24 hours, washing resultant material with water, adding washed material to hydrothermal reactor, reacting at 120-125 degrees C for 1-36 hours and washing resultant product with water.
