NOVELTY - Negative electrode sheet comprises a current collector (10) and a first coating (20) that is coated on the surface of one side of the current collector, where the first coating includes a first negative active material including a first carbon material. An intermediate layer (30) is coated on the surface of the first coating on the side away from the current collector. The intermediate layer includes a second negative electrode active material including a silicon-containing material and the second carbon material. An outer layer (40) is coated on a surface of the intermediate layer that is away from the first coating layer, where the outer layer includes a third negative electrode active material including a third carbon material. USE - Negative electrode sheet for battery. ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode sheet effectively prevents the silicon-containing material and its surrounding negative electrode active material from falling off from the top and bottom of the negative electrode sheet by improving the problem of lithium evolution at the edge, and also prevents the silicon-containing material from directly contacting the current collector and avoid the wrinkles and tears of the current collector caused by the lateral expansion of the silicon-based active material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing negative electrode sheet, which involves: (A) providing current collector; and (B) applying first coating to the surface of one side of the current collector, applying an intermediate layer to the surface of the first coating away from the current collector, and applying an intermediate layer to the surface of the intermediate layer away from the first one side of the coating coated with an outer layer.
