NOVELTY - Coated part (1) comprises a substrate (3) and a coating (5) covering a surface of the substrate. The coating comprises virucidal particles (7) having an average size D50 less than or equal to 1 mu m in an anti-bacterial matrix (9). The virucidal particles are zinc oxide particles, and/or zirconium oxide particles. The matrix is made of diamond-type carbon or based on graphene or carbon nanotubes. USE - The coated part is useful as an element of vehicle interior space intended to accommodate passengers. ADVANTAGE - The part is compatible with contact with human body, has virucidal and anti-bacterial activity and eliminates the transmission of viruses and bacteria.
