NOVELTY - Protective coating is set on the metal material substrate damage area surface, comprising a resin material layer from inside to outside in turn set on the surface of the metal material substrate damage area, a fibre cloth layer and a fast curing resin layer, wherein the fibre cloth layer comprises a surface-modified fibre cloth, the fast curing resin layer comprises a photosensitizer or a photoinitiator, the fast curing resin layer further comprises a photo-curing resin and a functional nano-material modified by covalent bond or non-covalent bond. USE - Protective coating for repairing metal surface damage. ADVANTAGE - The protective coating has high anti-erosion wear and anti-corrosion effect, by adding modified functional nano-material in the fast curing resin and modifying the fibre cloth, improving the interface performance between each layer of the protective coating, so that the protective coating can resist the corrosion of the metal material substrate surface under the marine severe environment, external force impact and erosion and so on. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. A method for preparing protective coating, which involves coating the resin material to the metal material substrate damage area, preparing resin material layer on the surface of the metal material substrate damage area, the surface of the fibre cloth is modified and adhered to the resin material layer, the surface of the resin material layer is formed with a fibre cloth layer; adding photosensitizer or photoinitiator into the light-cured resin to mix uniformly, modifying the functional nano-material to obtain the functional nano-material modified by covalent bond or non-covalent bond, and adding the functional nano-material modified by covalent bond or non-covalent bond into the photo-curable resin; obtaining the light-cured composite resin, and coating the light-cured composite resin to the fibre cloth layer, forming a fast curing resin layer on the surface of the fibre cloth layer; using sunlight or ultraviolet wave band light to irradiate the fast curing resin layer set time, obtaining the protective coating for repairing metal surface damage. 2. A composite material, which comprises a metal material matrix and the protective coating for repairing metal surface damage or the protective coating for repairing metal surface damage prepared by the preparation method of protective coating.
