NOVELTY - Fault identification lightning-proof insulator comprises umbrella skirt including polyolefin coated modified nano particles, silicone rubber, fluorine silicon rubber, ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) emulsion, modified silicone oil composition and flame retardant, where the monomer of the polyolefin comprises at least two of ethylene, propylene, vinyl chloride, styrene, the modified nano-particle comprises stearate, long-chain aliphatic amine, trimethylolpropane and silane coupling agent modified process of graphene oxide, nano silicon dioxide, nano titanium dioxide, nano magnesium oxide, nano aluminum oxide, nano zinc oxide, nano hydrotalcite, nano-silicon carbide, where the modified silicone oil composition is prepared by reacting fatty acid with sidechain amino silicone oil. USE - Used as fault identification lightning-proof insulator. ADVANTAGE - The insulator: has excellent comprehensive performance, and improves the electrical performance, mechanical performance and weather resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the fault identification lightning-proof insulator, comprising (i) adding the monomer of the polyolefin, modified nano particles, catalyst and solvent in sealed drying reactor, polymerizing under constant temperature at 50-80 degrees C for 4-10 hours, adding 5% hydrochloric acid ethanol solution to stop polymerization, filtering, washing, drying to obtain the polyolefin coated modified nanoparticles; (ii) adding polyolefin coated modified nano particles, silicone rubber, fluorine silicon rubber, EVA emulsion, modified silicone oil and flame retardant, stirring at 60-120 degrees C and drying to obtain mixture, then extruding and granulating the obtained mixture, placing in the mold for injection umbrella skirt; (ii) orderly providing inner part of epoxy cylinder with a discharge gap from up to down, a nonlinear resistor sheet and a tripping mechanism, where the tripping mechanism is provided with a fault indicator, then the obtained umbrella skirt in the step (ii) is adhered with the epoxy cylinder to obtain the insulator main body; and (iv) assembling the insulator main body and the upper and lower hardware fittings together.
