NOVELTY - Graphene or graphene oxide-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material comprises chitosan fiber-based material subjected to surface modification with graphene oxide or graphene. USE - Graphene or graphene oxide-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material used for preparing medical and sanitary dressing, antibacterial and antistatic clothing and antibacterial packaging materials, and industrial sewage treatment field. ADVANTAGE - The graphene or graphene oxide-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material has light weight, good conductivity and antibiotic property, simple manufacturing technique, low manufacturing cost, stable performance, strong adsorption of heavy metals, and antistatic function. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene or graphene oxide-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material comprising ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in solvent to prepare graphene oxide solution, adding coupling agent, obtaining graphene oxide solution containing coupling agent, chitosan fiber-based material surface spraying or impregnating with graphene oxide solution containing coupling agent, alternately washing the residual impurities with water and ethanol, drying to obtain graphene oxide-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material, or adding the graphene oxide-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material in water solution containing reducing agent, and conducting chemical reduction treatment to obtain graphene-functionalized chitosan fiber-based material.
