NOVELTY - Graphene based photocatalytic coating comprises 30-40 pts. wt. fluorocarbon resin, 15-20 pts. wt. acrylic resin, 8-12 pts. wt. diatomite, 5-8 pts. wt. sodium metaphosphate, 5-10 pts. wt. hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, 15-20 pts. wt. ethanol, 2-4 pts. wt. defoamer, 4-6 pts. wt. antibacterial agent and 10-12 pts. wt. modified graphene. The antibacterial agent is prepared by mixing imidazole, sodium hydroxide and acetonitrile, adding acetonitrile solution of bromododecane, mixing at 60?oC for 13-15 hours to obtain intermediate 1, mixing intermediate 1 and chloroform, adding vinyl benzyl chloride and 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol, mixing at 50?oC for 8-9 hours to obtain intermediate 2, mixing deionized water and vinyl triethoxysilane, adding ammonia solution, mixing for 2-2.5 hours, precipitating product, washing precipitate, drying to obtain intermediate 3, mixing intermediate 3 and intermediate 2, adding initiator, precipitating product, washing precipitate and drying. USE - Graphene based photocatalytic coating. ADVANTAGE - The antibacterial agents and modified graphene prevent breeding of bacteria and fungi and prolongs service life of coating.
