NOVELTY - Repairing asphalt pavement layer and rear material by elastic joint comprises (a) forming a joint opening block having predetermined width in asphalt pavement layer connected to the rear part of the bridge expansion joint; (b) applying a high-durability heated asphalt-based sealant on the primer after applying and drying a primer on all exposed surfaces of block; (c) forming a mixture layer and compacting the inside of the block with mixture of high-durability heated asphalt-based sealant and dry aggregate; and (d) applying a high-durability heating asphalt-based sealant on mixture layer to exceed width of mixture layer. The high-durability heated asphalt-based sealant comprises 100 pts. wt. of modified asphalt modified with styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer, 0.01-0.1 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 5-40 pts. wt. softener, 1-30 pts. wt. thermoplastic elastomer, 1-50 pts. wt. waste tire rubber powder and 10-40 pts. wt. petroleum resin. The graphene oxide contains graphene-based compound (I). USE - The method is useful for repairing asphalt pavement layer and rear material by elastic joint. ADVANTAGE - The method improves problem of waterproofing in the space and the flatness of the road surface; solves the problem of vibration or noise caused by passing vehicles, and at the same time secure the safety and speed of the vehicle; and absorbs behavior of the expansion joint and provide economical and excellent method of repairing the step difference between the rear part of the bridge expansion joint and the asphalt concrete pavement that can withstand the vibration and shock load of the vehicle.
