NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene quantum dots of different oxygen content involves dispersing a graphene oxide in the peroxide solution to obtain an oxidized graphene dispersion, mixing the oxidized graphene dispersion with lye and purifying to obtain a graphene quantum dots dry powder, and performing, after loading the graphene quantum dot powder on a carrier, gradient elution to obtain different oxygen content of graphene quantum dots. USE - Preparation of graphene quantum dots of different oxygen content used in fluorescent material (all claimed) for light-emitting diode and cell labeling applications. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of graphene quantum dots of different oxygen content by controlling oxygen content and emission wavelength of product.
