NOVELTY - Preparation of nano-graphene oxide modified flocculating agent comprises mixing pure graphite, sodium chloride, and pure sulfuric acid by stirring at 100-110 revolutions/minute (rpm) under ice bath for 15-19 minutes, slowly adding sodium peroxide, continuously stirring under ice bath for 45-49 minutes at 120-130 rpm, after the ice bath processing is finished, ultrasonically dispersing by ultrasonic dispersion instrument for 25-29 minutes, adding potassium permanganate and ethanol, stirring at 80-84 rpm and room temperature for 20-24 minutes, transferring to hot water bath, stirring at 80-84 degrees C and 70-74 rpm for 50-54 minutes, obtaining graphene oxide, ball milling, sintering, and obtaining nano-graphene oxide modified flocculating agent. USE - The method is for preparation of nano-graphene oxide modified flocculating agent used for processing coal washing plant wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The nano-graphene oxide modified flocculating agent does not have bad influence to human health and ecological environment, provides no secondary residual chemical substance in the treated sewage, and has solid suspended material removal rate of more than 99.7%, chemical oxygen demand removal rate of more than 99.6%, and removing rate of chromium ion, cadmium ion, nickel ion, zinc ion, lead ion and copper ion of more than 99.9%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of the nano-graphene oxide modified flocculating agent comprising adding the nano-graphene oxide modified flocculating agent and stirring for 15 minutes.
