NOVELTY - A bimetallic catalytic material comprises sponges comprising graphene oxide loaded with metallic cobalt and metallic nickel. USE - Bimetallic catalytic material used in wastewater treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The bimetallic catalytic material has high degradation effect than existing single-metal catalytic materials and can be easily recycled. The catalytic material utilizes cobalt-nickel soaking solution as active sites which has synergistic effects, and is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of bimetallic catalytic material which involves preparing graphene oxide and nickel-cobalt soaking solution; and (2) method of using bimetallic catalytic material which involves preparing wastewater, adding bimetallic catalytic material to the wastewater and stirring.
