NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene quantum dot involves calcining waste organic dye at high temperature in protective atmosphere to obtain carbon product, ultrasonically crushing carbon product in a solvent, and carrying out solvothermal reaction. USE - Preparation of graphene quantum dot (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene quantum dot with different fluorescence intensity by simple, environmentally-friendly and easy process.
