NOVELTY - An anticorrosive composition comprises a polymer chosen from poly(methyl methacrylate), polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, epoxy resin, polyimide, polyurethane, polypyrrole, polylactic acid and polycaprolactone, and nanoparticles chosen from graphene, vinyl modified silica and amino modified silica. USE - Composition is used for forming anticorrosive layer for inhibiting corrosion on metal substrate (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The anticorrosive layer is formed using composition having excellent hydrophobic property and synergistic effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) anticorrosive layer, which comprises a surface having a biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure (120) which is a papillary nano microstructure with irregular wrinkle appearance (130), and formed by a composition containing polymer and nanoparticles; and (2) method for inhibiting corrosion on a metal substrate, which involves providing an imprinting template having a negatively biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure, providing anticorrosive composition, coating the anticorrosive composition onto the imprinting template having the negatively biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure to form a coating layer, imprinting the negatively biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure onto the coating layer to form an anticorrosive layer comprising a surface having a biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure and curing the anticorrosive layer containing the surface having the biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure onto the metal substrate. The negatively biomimetic leaf surface nano-microstructure is an opposite of a papillary nano-microstructure with irregular wrinkle appearance.
