NOVELTY - A graphene powder has a specific surface area of 80-250 m2/g, as measured by BET measurement, and an oxygen-to-carbon element ratio of 0.09-0.30, measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. USE - Graphene powder is used for manufacturing paste for forming lithium ion battery electrode (all claimed) for battery for electronic device. ADVANTAGE - The graphene powder has a high dispersibility and ion conductivity due to its moderate specific surface area and oxidation degree. The graphene powder efficiently forms an electroconductive network within an electrode matrix. The lithium ion battery electrode has excellent charge/discharge characteristics.
