NOVELTY - Low-heat release low-smoke high-flame retardant epoxy resin material comprises 40-80 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 0.1-20 pts. wt. halogen-free essential flame retardant, 0.1-20 pts. wt. curing agent, where halogen-free intrinsic flame retardants is 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide flame retardant and synergistic flame retardant is melamine flame retardants or piperazine pyrophosphate flame retardants. USE - Used as low-heat release low-smoke high-flame retardant epoxy resin material. ADVANTAGE - The epoxy resin material: has high thermal stability, excellent mechanical properties; does not contain halogen; does not migrate; overcomes the defects of easy combustion; has high heat release and high smoke emission compared with traditional epoxy resin materials; can reach the V0 level; and has reduced pHRR of 27.9%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing low-heat release low-smoke high-flame retardant epoxy resin material comprising (1) mixing the epoxy resin and the 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide flame retardant, then stirring and reacting, (2) adding the synergistic flame retardant, continuing the reaction and then adding the curing agent for the curing reaction to obtain final product.
