NOVELTY - Preparing graphene flame retardant polyurethane sponge comprises e.g. (i) mixing poly(ethylene oxide) nonionic surfactant with organic solvent according to mass ratio of 1:(1.5-2) at room temperature to obtain compatibilizer solution, (ii) soaking the polyurethane sponge in the compatibilizer solution obtained in the step (i), immersing at room temperature for 15-30 minutes, taking out the extrusion compatibilizer solution, recycling the extruded compatibilizer solution for in-filtering, and draining the extruded polyurethane sponge at room temperature to obtain polyurethane sponge containing compatibilizer, (iii) ultrasonically dispersing and uniformly mixing of graphene, dicyandiamide and aqueous epoxy resin to obtain flame retardant adhesive dispersion, (iv) soaking the compatibilizer-containing polyurethane sponge obtained in the step (ii) in the flame retardant adhesive dispersion, soaking, squeezing layer of liquid film on the inner surface of the polyurethane sponge. USE - The sponge is useful for automotive interiors (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sponge: can block and isolate oxygen; has excellent in flame retardancy, simple preparation method, excellent energy absorption, buffering and flame retardant function. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene flame retardant polyurethane sponge comprises (i) mixing poly(ethylene oxide) nonionic surfactant with organic solvent according to mass ratio of 1:(1.5-2) at room temperature to obtain compatibilizer solution, (ii) soaking the polyurethane sponge in the compatibilizer solution obtained in the step (i), immersing at room temperature for 15-30 minutes, taking out the extrusion compatibilizer solution, recycling the extruded compatibilizer solution for in-filtering, and draining the extruded polyurethane sponge at room temperature to obtain polyurethane sponge containing compatibilizer, (iii) ultrasonically dispersing and uniformly mixing of graphene, dicyandiamide and aqueous epoxy resin to obtain flame retardant adhesive dispersion, (iv) soaking the compatibilizer-containing polyurethane sponge obtained in the step (ii) in the flame retardant adhesive dispersion obtained in the step (iii), soaking, squeezing layer of liquid film on the inner surface of the polyurethane sponge, recycling the extruded flame-retardant adhesive dispersion for soaking, thermostating the extruded polyurethane sponge in a protective atmosphere to obtain graphene flame retardant polyurethane sponge for automotive interiors.
