NOVELTY - Preparing modified graphene aqueous epoxy composite paint comprises e.g. (i) adding deionized water and tannic acid (TA) into beaker, ultrasonic oscillating, then adding graphene (GO) and dispersing in tannin solution under ultrasonic vibration power to obtain tannic acid intercalated graphene dispersion layer, removing unreacted graphene and tannic acid in the mixed solution by high speed centrifuging to obtain GO-TA-KH560 dispersion, then adding into the three-necked flask, adding 0.05 g gamma -(2,3-epoxypropyl)propyltrimethoxysilane (KH560) into the flask, stirring the mixed solution at 85 degrees C for 6 hours, and then centrifuging to obtain GO-TH-KH560 dispersion, and (ii) mixing base material, GO-TA-KH560 dispersing solution, stirring to disperse, then adding homogeneous dispersion into a spray gun, high pressure spraying on blasting treated rectangular steel sheet surface, and curing at room temperature for 2 days to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing modified graphene aqueous epoxy composite paint. ADVANTAGE - The paint has increased capacity and increases corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing modified graphene aqueous epoxy composite paint comprises (i) adding 100 ml deionized water and 0.05 g tannic acid (TA) into a 250 ml beaker, ultrasonic oscillating for 20 minutes under ultrasonic vibration power of 600 W, then adding 0.1 g graphene (GO) and dispersing in tannin solution for 1 hour under ultrasonic vibration power of 600 W to obtain tannic acid intercalated graphene dispersion layer, removing unreacted graphene and tannic acid in the mixed solution by high speed centrifuging at a speed of 1000-1500 revolutions/minute to obtain GO-TA-KH560 dispersion, then adding into the three-necked flask, adding 0.05 g gamma -(2,3-epoxypropyl)propyltrimethoxysilane (KH560) into the flask, stirring the mixed solution at 85 degrees C for 6 hours, and then centrifuging to obtain GO-TH-KH560 dispersion, and (ii) mixing base material, GO-TA-KH560 dispersing solution, stirring to disperse, then adding homogeneous dispersion into a spray gun, high pressure spraying on blasting treated rectangular steel sheet surface, and curing at room temperature for 2 days to obtain final product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for modified graphene aqueous epoxy composite paint is prepared by above mentioned method.
