USE - The catalyst is useful for degrading organic pollutant. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst increases light absorption, is non-toxic, economical and has steady property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing zinc molybdate/graphene complex visible light catalyst comprises: (i) ultrasonically dispersing 4.8-43.2 mg graphene oxide in 40 ml water for 60 minutes to obtain graphene oxide aqueous solution, adding 2 mmol sodium molybdate into graphene oxide aqueous solution and continuously ultrasonicating for 30 minutes to obtain solution-A; (ii) dissolving 2 mmol zinc acetate dehydrate in 40 ml water by stirring to obtain a transparent solution-B; (iii) drop-wisely adding solution-B into solution-A, continuously ultrasonicating for 120 minutes, adding hydrazine hydrate, stirring uniformly at 80 degrees C under water bath for polymer precipitation, then clarifying the solution, where 1 ml hydrazine hydrate is added to each 48 mg of graphene oxide; and (iv) naturally cooling the reaction solution to room temperature, filtering, washing respectively with water and ethanol for 3 times, then drying in a drying box at 80 degrees C for 5 hours.
