NOVELTY - Preparing oxidized graphene covalent bond coated magnetic nanoparticle composites material comprises e.g. preparing iron(II, III) oxide nano particles, iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles, surface aminated iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles, and ultrasonically dispersing the oxidized graphene in distilled water and adjusting the pH, adding 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride and N-hydroxysuccinimide to form suspension, adding surface aminated iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles to suspension, magnetic separating, washing and vacuum drying. USE - The oxidized graphene covalent bond coated magnetic nanoparticle composites material is useful in field of heavy metal sewage treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple process, and the product is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing oxidized graphene covalent bond coated magnetic nanoparticle composites material comprises (i) adding polyethylene glycol to the ethylene glycol and dissolving at 80 degrees C under stirring, adding ferric chloride hexahydrate and sodium acetate trihydrate to solution and stirring to dissolving, during the dissolution process, then adjusting the concentration of the mixture by adding distilled water to mixed solution, transferring to the high pressure reactor, charging the autoclave charged in a blast oven at 200 degrees C for a period of time, cooling, centrifuging and collecting the obtain resultant product, washing and drying to obtain iron(II, III) oxide nano particles, (ii) adding iron(II, III) oxide nano particles obtained in step (i) to anhydrous ethanol to form mixed solution, dispersing in an ultrasonic solution and adding the aqueous ammonia solution to the mixed solution, stirring in a water bath at 30 degrees C, adding ethyl orthosilicate to the mixture, magnetic separating to obtain resultant product, washing and drying to obtain iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles, (iii) ultrasonically dispersing iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles obtain in step (ii) in a mixed solution containing distilled water, adding isopropyl alcohol and (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane under nitrogen or argon atmosphere and stirring the mixture at 70 degrees C, subjecting the resulting product into magnetic separation, washing and drying to obtain surface aminated iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles, and (iv) ultrasonically dispersing the oxidized graphene in distilled water and adjusting the pH to 5-6 with buffer solution, adding 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride and N-hydroxysuccinimide, stirring to form suspension, adding surface aminated iron(II, III) oxide-silicon dioxide particles to above suspension and reacting at 80 degrees C, subjecting the resulting product into magnetic separation, washing with distilled water and absolute ethanol for 2-4 times, then vacuum drying at 60 degrees C to obtain final product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for oxidized graphene covalent bond coated magnetic nanoparticle composites material obtained by above method.
