NOVELTY - Preparing macroporous carbon electrocatalyst co-doped with transition metals and sulfur and nitrogen involves adding transition metal salt and the carbon source to the dispersant and stirring to obtain a dispersion, adding the sulfur source, nitrogen source, template agent and graphene to the dispersion liquid and stirring to obtain a mixture. The sulfur source and the nitrogen source are the same substance, heated and stirred the mixture to remove the dispersant, then dried, cooled, and grounded to obtain fine particles. The particles are calcined, then cooled, washed, centrifuged, and dried under the protection of inert gas to obtain product. USE - Method for preparing macroporous carbon electrocatalyst co-doped with transition metals and sulfur and nitrogen used in zinc-air batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has better repeatability, good oxygen reducing performance, reduces the overpotential of the cathode oxygen reduction reaction, in simple and cost-effective manner.
