NOVELTY - Method for producing a polydimethylsiloxane composite reinforced with three-dimensional conductive porous carbon, involves (a) preparing an aerogel having a porous structure from a mixed solution containing graphene oxide, polyvinyl alcohol and formaldehyde, (b) annealing the aerogel, and (c) bonding the annealed aerogel with polydimethylsiloxane. USE - The method is useful for producing polydimethylsiloxane composite reinforced with three-dimensional conductive porous carbon used as multifunctional wearable heaters and sensor devices. ADVANTAGE - The method provides the solution for developing multifunctional heater/sensor devices with robust structural reliability and desirable wearable performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a polydimethylsiloxane composite reinforced with three-dimensional conductive porous carbon, prepared by the method.
