▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The method involves separating a substrate including multiple layers of graphene oxide from each other by a small gap in the range of 0.4-0.6 nm. Two chambers are separated, where contaminated aqueous solution in one chamber is filtered through one side of the substrate leaving the contaminants in the same chamber, and fresh water exits from another side of the substrate into another chamber. Raw materials containing ingredients for the chambers such as plastics, metals and alloys are used. USE - Method for removing contaminants e.g. industrial wastes, solvents, bodily fluids and excess salts, from waste water or aqueous solutions using tightly stacked layers of graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method enables removing contaminants from the aqueous solution, thus separating the contaminants and fresh water, and hence reducing variable energy cost for the process. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view illustrating a method for removing contaminants from waste water or aqueous solutions.
