▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Nanodiamond-palladium-supported catalyst, is prepared by (i) preparing nanodiamond-graphene core-shell structure carbon material, (ii) uniformly dispersing the carbon material in 30-40 ml nitric acid, and heating and stirring at 80-160 degrees C for 4-8 hours to obtain nanodiamond-graphene oxide core-shell structured carbon material carrier, where the concentration of the nanodiamond in nitric acid is 10-15 mg/ml, and the mass fraction of nitric acid is 50-68%, (iii) uniformly dispersing the carrier in a solvent through ultrasonic, dripping palladium chloride solution under stirring, heating for 1-4 hours, filtering and drying to obtain a palladium/nanodiamond-graphene oxide composite precursor, and (iv) reducing the composite precursor in a mixed gas of hydrogen and helium at 100-300 degrees C for 1-2 hours, so as to obtain the finished product. USE - The catalyst is useful for producing benzaldehyde from benzyl alcohol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst effectively catalyzes the oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde, and has excellent conversion rate of 100%, and selectivity of 94% during the reaction of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing benzaldehyde from benzyl alcohol, involving adding benzyl alcohol, catalyst and o-xylene solvent to a reaction kettle, filling oxygen, and reacting at 85-125 degrees C under a pressure of 1-7 bar for 2.5-4.5 hours, where the ratio (ml:mg) of catalyst to benzyl alcohol is 1:(10-100).
