NOVELTY - Preparation of sulfur-coated graphene-oxide shell microcapsule, involves pouring 2.5-25 ml aqueous solution on surface of graphene oxide or functional group modified graphene oxide, adding 200 ml water, carrying out ultrasonic dispersion for 30 minutes, adding 0.9927-9.9272 g sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, stirring at room temperature, adding 37 %mass of 0.8-4 ml hydrochloric acid solution, keeping at room temperature, filtering, washing three times, and vacuum drying for 12 hours. USE - Preparation of graphene-oxide shell sulfur-coated microcapsule for use as rubber vulcanizing agent in rubber related industries. ADVANTAGE - The coating process is simple, safe and environmentally-friendly. The different functionalized graphene oxide shell materials can provide different properties, thus being suitable for development of multifunctional vulcanizing agents. The sulfur-coated wall material functionalized rubber has excellent anti-scorching and anti-aging properties.
