NOVELTY - Preparing nickel-based double layered hydroxide-reduced graphene oxide supercapacitor electrode material involves mixing nickel, cobalt and aluminum source in deionized water to prepare solution, placing in water bath at constant temperature, filling argon gas under the electric stirring and continuous ultrasonic condition, adding sodium hydroxide solution, adjusting pH value to 8-9 degrees centigrade for 4-5 hours to obtain first product. The mass ratio of first product and graphene oxide is 6-20:1. USE - Method for preparing nickel-based double layered hydroxide-reduced graphene oxide supercapacitor electrode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare nickel-based double layered hydroxide-reduced graphene oxide supercapacitor electrode material in in simple and cost-effective manner, has good specific capacity, good multiplying power and high cycling stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing nickel-based double layered hydroxide-reduced graphene oxide supercapacitor electrode material involves mixing nickel, cobalt and aluminum source in deionized water to prepare solution, placing in water bath at constant temperature, filling argon gas under the electric stirring and continuous ultrasonic condition, adding sodium hydroxide solution, adjusting pH value to 8-9 degrees centigrade for 4-5 hours to obtain first product. The mass ratio of first product and graphene oxide is 6-20:1. The graphene oxide is added to first product, reacted for 0.5-1 hours, allowed to stand for 3-5 hours, filtered and separated and washing with deionized water to obtain second product with formula Ni1-y-zCoyAlz(OH)2(Am)z/m x nH2O, where y is 0-0.15, z is 0.25-0.33 and A is layered double hydroxides of intercalation anion. The nickel source is nickel acetate, nickel nitrate or nickel. The cobalt source is cobalt acetate, cobalt nitrate or cobalt chloride. The aluminum source is aluminum nitrate or aluminum chloride. The concentration of the graphene oxide dispersion liquid is 0.5-1 milligram per milliliter and pH value is 6-7. The second product is dispersed in deionized water, subjected to ultrasonic treatment for 0.5 hours, stirred for 1-2 hours, allowed to stand for 3-5 hours, filtered and separated and washed with deionized water to obtain third product. The third product is dispersed in deionized water in the reaction kettle, carried out hydrothermal treatment at 160-190 degrees C for 12-18 hours, filtered, washed with deionized water, eluted with anhydrous ethanol and dried by vacuum to obtain nickel-based double layered hydroxide-reduced graphene oxide supercapacitor electrode material.
