NOVELTY - Preparing carbon/stannic oxide/graphene composite material comprises adding rice hull in the alkali solution to carry out hydrothermal reaction at 160-180 degrees C to obtain first precipitate; acid cleaning the first precipitate, washing to neutral at 180-200 degrees C to obtain carbon framework, adding carbon framework with tin and graphene to carry out hydrothermal reaction to obtain second precipitate and calcining second precipitate under protective gas atmosphere at 500-550 degrees C. The tin is stannous chloride or stannic chloride. USE - The carbon/stannic oxide/graphene composite material is useful for preparing lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon/stannic oxide/graphene composite material is economical and has good electrochemical performance.
