NOVELTY - Preparation of modified medical rubber material involves preparing chitosan oligosaccharide-coated nanosilver by mixing 0.1 wt.% silver nitrate solution and 0.1 wt.% chitosan oligosaccharide solution for 0.5-1 hours to obtain mixed solution, adding in 4 mL quartz cuvette, sealing, placing under 240-290 nm and 10-40 W UV lamp for 5-30 minutes, adding ethanol, centrifuging at 13000-15000 rpm for 30-80 minutes to obtain precipitate, washing with 50% ethanol for 2 times, freeze-drying to obtain chitosan oligosaccharide-coated nanosilver composite as antibacterial agent, dissolving in water and ultrasonically processing for 20-30 minutes, soaking natural rubber in 80-98% sulfuric acid for 5-10 minutes, washing for 3-7 times using deionized water, self-assembling prepared chitosan oligosaccharide-coated nanosilver solution and graphene oxide solution respectively to the outermost modified natural rubber containing multiple bilayers, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of modified medical rubber material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy, economical and carried out under mild conditions, and produces modified medical rubber material having excellent antibacterial activity.
