NOVELTY - Manufacture of electrode involves mixing a porous carbon material with a dispersion medium, ultrasonically processing the dispersion with stirring to obtain a ultrasonically treated dispersion (a), adding additive to the dispersion (a), ultrasonically processing the dispersion with stirring to obtain a ultrasonically treated dispersion (b), filtering and drying the dispersion (b). USE - Manufacture of electrode used in energy storage device (claimed) such as super-capacitor used in toys, solar energy storage, bio-inserted medical device and hybrid electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of electrode having excellent biocompatibility and dispersibility. The energy storage device provided with the electrode has excellent mechanical strength, and low toxicity to the living body. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for energy storage device, which comprises positive electrode, separator, negative electrode and electrolyte, in order.
