NOVELTY - Manufacture of electrode involves mixing a porous carbon material with a dispersion medium, ultrasonically processing the dispersion with stirring to obtain a ultrasonically treated dispersion (a), adding additive to the dispersion (a), ultrasonically processing the dispersion with stirring to obtain a ultrasonically treated dispersion (b), filtering and drying the dispersion (b). USE - Manufacture of electrode used in energy storage device (claimed) such as super-capacitor used in toys, solar energy storage, bio-inserted medical device and hybrid electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of electrode having excellent biocompatibility and dispersibility. The energy storage device provided with the electrode has excellent mechanical strength, and low toxicity to the living body.
