▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The method involves mixing a graphene material with a polybutadiene material to form a core mixture. The core mixture comprises 40-90 wt.% polybutadiene, 0.4-2.5 wt.% graphene material, 10-50 wt.% zinc diacrylate, 1-30 wt.% zinc oxide, and 0.1-10 wt.% peroxide initiator. A compression molding is performed on a core from the core mixture. The core has a diameter ranging from 0.70 inch to 1.6 inch. A mantle layer is formed over the core, and a cover (16) is formed over the mantle. A cover is formed over the core. A mantle layer is formed over the core. The core mixture is molded over an inner core (12a) to produce a dual core with a diameter ranging from 0.7 inch to 1.6 inches. The compression molding is performed on outer core (12b) over a center core comprising a polybutadiene mixture. USE - Method for forming a core for a golf ball. ADVANTAGE - The improved durability of the core by using graphene can result in higher mean time to fail (MTTF) upon repeated impact in a high speed testing device, or with a golf club in normal play. The aging properties are improved due to the incorporation of graphene in the core for better retention of compression and COR over time. The graphene reinforcement to the inner and outer core helps resist the high stresses experienced by the core when struck at high club speeds.
