NOVELTY - Preparing bismuth vanadate/molybdenum disulfide-graphene oxide (BiVO4/MoS2-GO) composite photocatalytic material involves dissolving bismuth nitrate pentahydrate (Bi(NO)3.5H2O) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in ethylene glycol, ultrasonically mixing uniformly, then adding 3-mercaptopropionic acid, stirring and mixing uniformly, and adjusting the pH to obtain BiVO4. The prepared GO and MoS2is added to BiVO4, stirred and mixed, then added ammonium metavanadate aqueous solution, stirred, then hydrothermally reacted, after the reaction is completed, cooled to room temperature, washed, dried and obtained BiVO4/MoS2-GO composite photocatalytic material. USE - Method for preparing BiVO4/MoS2-GO composite photocatalytic material used in photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline in water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The prepared BiVO4/MoS2-GO composite photocatalytic material has high photocatalytic performance.
