NOVELTY - Preparation of porous graphene-like aerogel involves milling lignin treated precursor, mixing with water, hydrothermally treating to obtain a solid product, freeze-drying the product to obtain lignose aerogel, milling the aerogel with potassium carbonate to obtain a mixture, calcining to obtain a calcined product, neutralizing the calcined product, filtering, washing and drying. USE - Preparation of porous graphene-like aerogel for supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces aerogel having improved graphitization degree, stability, rich porous structure, and is economical, environmentally-friendly, and energy-saving.
