▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The lacrosse head (100) has opposing sidewalls (102,104) which are joined at one end by a throat (106). The sidewalls are connected at another end by a scoop (108). A blend of a nylon polymer is provided about 0.1% to about 1% graphene. The lacrosse head is provided with a tensile strength of the throat that is about 3% which is greater than a lacrosse head provided with the nylon polymer without the graphene. The nylon polymer is nylon 6-6. The graphene is present at about 0.1% to about 0.3%. The tensile strength of the throat is about 5%-7% greater than lacrosse head comprising the nylon polymer without graphene. USE - Lacrosse head e.g. Rebel-O lacrosse head designed for midfield player, used for sporting equipment. Uses include but are not limited to football helmet, biking helmet, hockey blade and stick, hockey helmet, pad for lacrosse, football and hockey, shin guard, field hockey stick, baseball and softball bat, badminton racket, racquetball racket, golf club, skis, ski boot, etc. ADVANTAGE - The durability of the lacrosse heads is increased by the graphene. The lacrosse head is provided with limited impact on the stiffness and flexibility of the lacrosse heads. The addition of graphene suitably provides for increased durability by providing added strength. The combination of relatively stable compression stiffness over broad temperature range, in concert with increased durability, provides unique advantage to lacrosse players of all levels, including high level competitive lacrosse. The relatively uniform stiffness is maintained, predictable playability and reaction are provided, regardless of temperature. Durability testing of sporting equipment demonstrates increased ability to withstand impacts, as well as compression stiffness that is relatively stable, over temperature range that includes minus 15 degrees C to 52 degrees C.
