NOVELTY - A graphene-rare earth-nylon nanocomposite fiber comprises graphene, nano-rare earth and nylon. The nanocomposite fiber is prepared by modifying graphene with modifier, adding organic acid solution to obtain graphene dispersion, modifying rare earth nanoparticles with modifier, adding dispersion to obtain graphene-nano rare earth dispersion, adding nylon solution to obtain mixed solution, pulverizing to obtain graphene-rare earth-nylon masterbatch material, mixing remaining nylon to obtain graphene-rare earth-nylon pellets, melt-spinning to obtain final product. USE - Graphene-rare earth-nylon nanocomposite fiber for use in textile (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The uniform and stable graphene-rare earth-nylon nanocomposite fiber has high strength, high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, high crystallization rate, improved mechanical properties, low production cost and high production efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene-rare earth-nylon nanocomposite fiber comprises 0.2-5 wt.% graphene, 8-14 wt.% nano-rare earth and 85-90 wt.% nylon. The nanocomposite fiber is prepared by (1) modifying graphene with modifier, adding organic acid solution, ultrasonically dispersing for 1-3 hours to obtain graphene dispersion, modifying the rare earth nanoparticles with modifier, then adding graphene dispersion, ultrasonically dispersing for 30-60 minutes to obtain graphene-nano rare earth dispersion, adding nylon at 78-82 degrees C, fully dissolving to obtain nylon solution, adding nylon solution to graphene-nano-rare earth dispersion, stirring for 15-20 hours to obtain mixed solution, coating the mixed solution, drying at 50-75 degrees C for 48-60 hours, pulverizing to obtain graphene-rare earth-nylon masterbatch material, (2) mixing the remaining nylon with the graphene-rare earth-nylon masterbatch material, extruding, granulating and drying to obtain graphene-rare earth-nylon pellets, (3) melt-spinning the graphene-rare earth-nylon pellets to obtain graphene-rare earth-nylon nanocomposite fiber. The total amount of nylon is 2-3% of organic acid solution.
