NOVELTY - Preparing self-healing graphene epoxy resin comprises (i) reacting 2,2'-dithiodiethanol, tetrabutylammonium bromide and epichlorohydrin at 70-90 degrees C for 2-4 hours to obtain reaction liquid, where weight ratio between 2,2'-dithiodiethanol, tetrabutylammonium bromide and epichlorohydrin is 3-7:2-8:5-10, (ii) dispersing graphene oxide into water, adding sodium hydroxide to make mass fraction of sodium hydroxide 10-15 wt.% solution to obtain dropping liquid, and (iii) dropping reaction liquid of step (ii) into reaction liquid of step (i), where dropping temperature is 70-90 degrees C, dropping rate is 80-150 drops/minute, lowering temperature to 50-70 degrees C, adding toluene for 0.5-2 hours, and distilling under reduced pressure to obtain final product. USE - The self-healing graphene epoxy resin is useful in electronic product packaging (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene epoxy resin: has intrinsic self-healing material and multiple repairing capabilities, excellent mechanical properties, simple and easy process; and process does not require addition of catalyst and other repairing reagents. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for self-healing graphene epoxy resin obtained by above method.
