▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Antiviral formulation comprises metallic copper particles in an unoxidized form and having a median particle diameter of greater than or equal to 200 nm, graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide, and a bonding matrix material. USE - The formulation is useful in antiviral filtering material for antiviral face mask (all claimed) for preventing viruses in air or onto surfaces from entering human body such as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The antiviral formulation: has a stable antiviral activity while avoiding the leaching of the active components; provides an antiviral filtering material with an improved anti-viral activity and a good breathability; and avoids or at least limits leaching after wash. The method for preparing the formulation and the filtering material is scalable and inexpensive. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMs are also included for: (1) antiviral filtering material comprising a layer of textile and at least one layer of an antiviral coating comprising metallic copper particles in an unoxidized form and having a median particle diameter of greater than or equal to 200 nm, graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide, and a bonding matrix into which both metallic copper particles and graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide are anchored; (2) preparing antiviral formulation, comprising preparing metallic copper particles having a median particle diameter of greater than or equal to 200 nm in alkaline conditions aqueous dispersion and stabilized graphene oxide or stabilized reduced graphene oxide, mixing the aqueous dispersion with a bonding matrix material under alkaline conditions to obtain antiviral formulation comprising metallic copper particles in an unoxidized form, graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide and a bonding matrix material; and (3) antiviral face mask made from an antiviral filtering material comprising a layer of textile coated with an antiviral formulation comprising metallic copper particles in an unoxidized form and having a median particle diameter, and graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide, and a bonding matrix into which both metallic copper particles and graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide are anchored.
