NOVELTY - A low moisture absorption, heat conducting and insulating polyamide 66 (PA66) composite material comprises 40-70 pts. wt. polyamide 66, 5-15 pts. wt. supplementary nylon material, 3-8 pts. wt. maleic anhydride grafted polyvinylidene fluoride, 5-10 pts. wt. magnesium oxide, 5-10 pts. wt. graphene fiber or carbon nanotube, 5-8 pts. wt. toughening agent, 0.5-1 pt. wt. lubricant and 0.5-1 pt. wt. antioxidant. The supplementary nylon material is at least one of polyamide 46 (PA46), polyamide 12 (PA12), polyamide 1010 (PA1010), polyamide 112 (PA112), polyamide 6T (PA6T), polyamide 9T (PA9T) and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). The magnesium oxide is magnesium oxide whose surface is treated with a silane coupling agent. USE - Low moisture absorption, heat conducting and insulating polyamide 66 composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has improved mechanical properties, heat conducting performance, reduced water absorption, excellent insulation properties and wear resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite material, which involves (s1) weighing the above components, adding the weighed polyamide 66 and supplementary nylon material at 90-110°C for 5-8 hours, and mixing to obtain dry compound resin, (s2) adding the compound resin, maleic anhydride grafted polyvinylidene fluoride, magnesium oxide, graphene fiber or carbon nanotube, toughening agent, lubricant and antioxidant into a mixer, and stirring uniformly to obtain a premix, and (s3) adding the premix into a twin-screw extruder, melt-extruding, cooling, drying, cutting, and sorting.
