NOVELTY - Sound-absorbing material comprises multi-component polyether including polyether polyol, cross-linking agent, foaming agent, cell opening agent and catalyst, isocyanate and 0.2-1 wt.% graphene powder, where the multi-component polyether and isocyanate in a weight ratio of 1: 0.9-1.2. USE - The material is useful for sound absorption, noise reduction and sound insulation of car body component, preferably engine decorative cover or front wall noise-insulating pad (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy and for large-scale industrial production. The material: has mild reaction condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing sound-absorbing material comprising (1) mixing and stirring the multi-component polyether and graphene powder uniformly to obtain slurry A, (2) adding isocyanate to slurry A, stirring and mixing to obtain slurry B and (3) transferring the slurry B into a foaming mold and foaming to obtain a sound-absorbing.
