NOVELTY - A lithium-ion battery positive pole component includes lithium metal as negative electrode. A positive electrode plate is comprised with slow-release additive stored in pores of positive electrode plate, where the slow-release additive is gradually dissolved in electrolyte during battery cycle process, and participate in SEI film formation on the surface of negative electrode, where the solubility of slow-release additive in electrolyte is less than 0.02 mol/L. USE - Positive pole component for lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium-ion battery positive pole component utilizes low solubility of slow-release additive in the electrolyte, by storing the excess slow-release additive in the positive electrode plate, and continuously releasing the slow-release additive from the positive electrode to the electrolyte during battery cycles to supplement the additive's consumption effect, and the negative electrode is protected by the decomposition of the additive, thereby prolonging the cycle life of the battery.
