NOVELTY - Preparing aluminum oxide/graphene oxide hybrid sheet involves preparing graphene oxide by mixing 1g natural graphite and 24mL of 98% concentrated sulfuric acid in ice bath for 30 minutes. The 1g sodium nitrate and 5g potassium permanganate are added and mixture is stirred for 1.5 hours. The temperature of reaction mixture is raised to 39 degrees C for 2 hours. The 41mL deionized water is added and mixture is stirred at 95 degrees C for 1 hour. The 120mL of 10% hydrogen peroxide is added and reaction is carried out for 30 minutes. The 5mL hydrochloric acid is added and mixture is centrifuged. USE - Method for preparing aluminum oxide/graphene oxide hybrid sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare aluminum oxide/graphene oxide hybrid sheet that is anti-corrosive, and has strong bonding force, good compatibility and good dispersibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing aluminum oxide/graphene oxide hybrid sheet involves preparing graphene oxide by mixing 1g natural graphite and 24mL of 98% concentrated sulfuric acid in ice bath for 30 minutes. The 1g sodium nitrate and 5g potassium permanganate are added and mixture is stirred for 1.5 hours. The temperature of reaction mixture is raised to 39 degrees C for 2 hours. The 41mL deionized water is added and mixture is stirred at 95 degrees C for 1 hour. The 120mL of 10% hydrogen peroxide is added and reaction is carried out for 30 minutes. The 5mL hydrochloric acid is added and mixture is centrifuged and then filtered. The obtained solid material is washed with deionized water and ethanol. The solid material is dried in vacuum oven at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain graphene oxide. The modified alumina is prepared by weighing 0.2g nano alumina, 8g 8-aminopyrene-1,3,6-trisulfonic acid, trisodium salt and 200g anhydrous ethanol. The mixture is ultrasonically dispersed for 30 minutes. The 16g deionized water is added and reaction mixture is stirred at 78 degrees C for 4 hours. The reaction mixture is centrifuged and filtered. The obtained solid material is washed with deionized water and ethanol. The solid material is dried in vacuum oven at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain modified alumina. The 0.05g modified alumia, graphene oxide and 100mL N,N-dimethylformamide are mixed for 30 minutes at 105 degrees C. The reaction mixture is centrifuged and the solid material is washed with ethanol. The solids is dried in vacuum oven at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain final product. The weight ratio of modified alumina and graphene oxide is 1:2-5.
