NOVELTY - A preparation method of graphene oxide sheet material involves mixing graphite and concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, adding sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate, reacting, adding hydrogen peroxide, reacting, adding hydrochloric acid, and centrifuging to obtain graphene oxide, dispersing nano-titanium dioxide and ( gamma )-aminopropyltriethoxysilane in ethanol, adding water, centrifuging, washing, drying, and grinding to obtain modified titanium dioxide, dispersing in dimethylformamide, adding graphene oxide, dispersing, stirring, centrifuging, washing solid, drying, and grinding. USE - Preparation of titanium dioxide-loaded graphene oxide sheet material (claimed) used in epoxy coating. ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of titanium dioxide-loaded graphene oxide sheet material which exhibits excellent compatibility and dispersion property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of titanium dioxide-loaded graphene oxide sheet material involves mixing 1 g natural graphite and 24 mL 98 % concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring for 30 minutes, adding 1 g sodium nitrate, and 5 g potassium permanganate, stirring for 1.5 hours, reacting at 39 degrees C for 2 hours, adding 41 ml deionized water, stirring at 95 degrees C for 1 hours, adding 10 % 120 ml hydrogen peroxide, reacting for 30 minutes, continuously adding 5 ml hydrochloric acid, centrifuging, washing the solid material with deionized water and ethanol, vacuum-drying at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing 0.1 g nano-titanium dioxide and 4 g ( gamma )-aminopropyltriethoxysilane in 100 g anhydrous ethanol for 30 minutes, adding 14 g distilled water, stirring at 78 degrees C for 6 hours, centrifuging, washing the solid material with deionized water and ethanol, vacuum-drying the solid material at 60 degrees C for 24 hours, and grinding to obtain modified titanium dioxide, adding 0.05 g modified titanium dioxide in 100 ml dimethylformamide, ultrasonically dispersing for 15 minutes, continuously adding graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing for 15 minutes, stirring at 105 degrees C for 5 hours, centrifuging, washing solid with dry ethanol, vacuum-drying at 60 degrees C for 24 hours, and grinding. The weight ratio of modified titanium dioxide and graphene oxide is 1:2-5.
