NOVELTY - Blue-phase liquid crystal composite material comprises 57-84 pts. wt. nematic liquid crystal, 15-40 pts. wt. chiral dopant and 0.01-3 pts. wt. graphene. USE - Used as blue-phase liquid crystal composite material. ADVANTAGE - The blue-phase liquid crystal composite material has high thermal stability and a large temperature range, and has also high dielectric to each anisotropic. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of blue phase liquid crystal composite material comprising (i) mixing the nematic liquid crystal with a chiral dopant to obtain blue phase liquid crystal,, dispersing graphene in a solvent to obtain graphene dispersion, and (ii) mixing the blue phase liquid crystal and the graphene dispersion obtained in step (i) to obtain final product.
