NOVELTY - A graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material comprises a self-fluxing nickel-based alloy matrix material comprising 0.5-20% of 100-1000 nm graphene as reinforcement. USE - A graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material for aerospace, machinery, automobile, and war industry. ADVANTAGE - The graphene content change range is large, coating tissue is uniform and compact, wear resistance and friction-reducing performance are improved, and metallurgical bonding is good. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing the graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material, comprising laser cladding at 2.5-4.5 KW, at a scanning speed of 2-6 mm/second, with a diameter of light spot of 2-6 mm, at a lapping rate of 10-40%, and using argon gas or helium gas protection.
